Jennifer Bagsby is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with many years of experience with children, families, and adult clients. Her early experiences in the mental health field included the provision of services to children and adults with trauma and stressor-related disorders, facilitation of the emotional and social adjustment of children with medical disorders and somatic symptoms, and the development of behavioral interventions for children with neurodevelopmental, attention-deficit, impulse-control, conduct, and mood disorders.
Ms. Bagsby continued her professional development in a variety of practice settings including hospitals and outpatient clinics. With her extensive experience, she is able to provide professional care and treatment for a broad spectrum of problems, including psychological factors affecting physical wellness, behavioral issues of childhood and adolescence, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance-related disorders. She works with children, adolescents and adults.
Using a strengths-based and collaborative approach to problem-solving with her patients, Ms. Bagsby is skilled in the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family therapy, parent consultation, and other evidence-based interventions.
