Robert Mackay, LCSW
Robert Mackay is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He earned both his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with a Minor in Family Studies, and his Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. He has been providing counseling services since 2007.
Rob works with adolescents and adults, and has experience working with a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges including anxiety, depression, addictions, marriage and family counseling, grief and loss, anger management, self-esteem, spirituality, and stress management.
Beyond his individual counseling experience, Rob has also led therapy groups for anger management and for grief and loss issues. He has completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy. He has been trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and uses this form of therapy in combination with Strengths Based, Solution Focused, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy concepts and techniques in his practice.
