Melody M. Podraza, MSW, ACSW, LCSW

Melody Podraza is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 24 years of practice experience in both the private and public sectors. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1987 and has national certification as a Certified EMDR Therapist.

Ms. Podraza provides client-centered therapy to adolescents and adults. Skilled in a variety of modalities, she practices from a strength based philosophy that recognizes and encourages the healthy interplay between mind, body and soul. Ms. Podraza has extensive experience with clients who struggle with mood and anxiety disorders, grief recovery, and relationship issues. She has a particular expertise in the area of trauma and recovery and is member of EMDRIA (www.emdria.org).
