Kristen Gilmore Estes, MA, LPC, NCC

Kristen Gilmore Estes, MA, LPC, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has been working with children and their families since 1988. She has specific training in behavioral and expressive therapies. Her undergraduate degree in Psychology is from the State College of Denver, CO. Kristen’s experience begins with spinal cord injury patients and women in crisis and transition. Over her career she has provided help to children and their families in crisis, community mental health, women’s health, inpatient assessment, school counseling, and outpatient private practice.

Kristen’s certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors and a member of the American Counseling Association. Her current treatment focuses on grief/loss, mood disorders, life transitions, ADHD, and behavioral management. Kristen enjoys working with children, adolescents, women, and families utilizing a cognitive-behavioral approach as well as mindfulness, and expressive therapies.
