Lisa Zaccanelli is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has experience working in the public and private sector. Lisa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University in 2007 and her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010.
Ms. Zaccanelli specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families. She has a special focus on helping build positive parent-child relationships. Ms. Zaccanelli also works with a wide range of individuals and problems. She helps children and adults with a variety of behavioral health issues including depression, anxiety, and emotional self-regulation challenges.
She helps individuals who have substance use problems and works with parents and children on improving conduct and other behavioral issues. She has a sub-specialty working with children whose personal histories include significant trauma and attachment difficulties. Ms. Zaccanelli uses a client-centered and strengths-based approach in her work with individuals and families. Additional areas of experience and expertise include the provision of crisis stabilization services and community-based harm reduction efforts.
