Jeannette Abelson-Goode, LCSW, CSOTP

Jeannette Abelson-Goode is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider. She earned her Master of Social Work degree, specializing in Interpersonal Practice, from the University of Michigan in 1998. Jeannette began her post-masters work at Beaumont Juvenile Correctional Center treating incarcerated adolescents. She has spent the last eight years working as a clinician with the Chesterfield/Colonial Heights Adult Drug Court.

Jeannette utilizes evidence-based treatment for a variety of emotional and behavioral issues such as trauma, anger, grief and loss, and depression. She has extensive experience working with those who struggle with addictive behaviors including substance abuse, sexual addiction, and eating disorders.
