The DBH Midlothian Eating Disorders program is headed by
Ann Sahli, LCSW. Ms. Sahli works from a strengths-based, empowerment perspective. Skill-building, (including communication training, developing positive self esteem, assertiveness training, coping skill development, and relaxation training) is taught and processed in weekly sessions and reinforced through homework assignments. Family therapy is strongly recommended for all adolescent clients. Ms. Sahli works with each client to create a treatment team consisting of a Nutritionist, a Primary Care Physician, parents (if the client is a minor), and a Psychiatrist (if needed). She maintains regular contact with these team members and coordinates care.
