Dr. Saleem completed his psychiatric training at Hahnemann University and the University of Connecticut. He was also a fellow in geriatric psychiatry at Yale University. He is Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He practices general adult psychiatry, and has special interest in the treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders and the evaluation of older adults with memory problems. Dr. Saleem is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry. He serves on the medical staff at Poplar Springs Hospital and John Randolph Medical Center.
