Richard Grosse, LCSW

Richard is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with twenty years experience working with adults and adolescents in individual, couples and family therapy.  He has experience working with a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges.  Richard works with both adults and teenagers who struggle with Substance Abuse problems.  Richard co-facilitates adolescent treatment groups focusing on substance abuse, anger management and high risk behavior.  He is a member of the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) treatment team at DBH.  He has associate privileges at both Johnston-Willis and Chippenham hospitals.  He is an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Social Work.  He presents bi-annually at the University of Virginia's Adolescent Health Symposium.  He has taught at Northstar Community Church (www.northstarcommunity.com) and presented at Penn State's Symposium on Bruce Springsteen and American Culture.
